Our capital city is literally blanketed in fog this morning. Barely able to see a quarter of a mile ahead, cars slowly inch along. From Virginia, you can't even see Washington across the Potomac. The entire city disappears.
The fog advisory says it's a couple thousand feet thick in the air. There's zero visibility at Dulles airport.
And what timing for a city in a fog of its own making. This morning things are more uncertain than certain. The political balance of the Senate. The balance of power. The condition of Democratic Senator Tim Johnson of South Dakota. What to do in Iraq. The President still seeks advice on his listening tour. As he said yesterday, "our enemy is far from being defeated."
The fog is supposed to lift here around noon today. The political fog? No one knows.

'Blind Sheik' recovering
Senator Johnson is a conservative democrat, and serves the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee, the Senate Budget Committee, the Senate Banking Committee, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, & Ethics Committee.
Maybe Dirty Harry Reid poisoned him to get him out of the way for a more Socialist Senator.
McDermott was admonished by the House ethics committee lately, could be some payback there.
Jefferson, Reid & his lobbyist sons, Mollohan, Pelosi & her non union vineyards working illegal's. So much democrat corruption, so little time.
I know in the interest of equal insanity this will make it through.

George Washington University Hospital has excellent neurological nursing experts on its staff. I recommend your seeking one out (usually called clinical nurse specialists - you want one in neurosurgery or neurology) and having her (94% of nurses are women) provide on-air commentary about the routes of recovery and the range of physiologic and behavioral responses that post-op CVM patients undergo.

Our prayer go out to Senator Johnson and his family. Now the White House is sending Laura Bush to push for money for Iraq/Afghan as Americans can't believe George. The only answer Tony Snow has is " I don't know". Big Businesses have pulled their money out of those countries so in order for the continued corruption 100 Billion dollars is needed. America has spent 2 Trillion dollars since Bush invaded Iraq and the criminals need more money. Notice the headlines as Billions from big business profiteers are getting in Holiday bonuses. While the taxpayers are having a hard time making ends meet. The rubber stamp Congress is gone. The new elected Congress were voted in to stop the maddness of giving away America's money to pay offs while our troops are left with the things they need to be safe. Halliburton pays it's employees with taxpayers money while our troops and their families suffer. Laura is being use as the mouth piece for the lies in hopes that someone will believe her since we know George hasn't told the truth since he took office in 2000.
