It a great moment for Bagladeshi. When I heard this news, I cried.....,Its a joy. We love him like my father.

I feel very happy that Dr. Younis's work has been recognized at the highesy level. I knew little about Gramin Bank and the idea that little money can make a difference. But I do not know if Dr. Yunis should be given the Nobel prize for Economics or, peace. I any case, thanks to Nobel committee for recognizing the good work. I am sure that it was a tough decision. Congratulations to Dr. Yunis & Bangla Desh. I also share the joy with all Bangladesees in USA.

We as a Bangladeshi, feeling great great proud today and like to express that we are not as bad as some people portray us. Dr. Yunus and his creation, Grameen Bank has proved this today after recognised by Nobel Prize committee. Really, it's the deserving Peace Prize.

Although I have have never heard of this gentleman before, I think that it is absolutely fantastic how this man with compassion, courage and an original idea is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize as a true leader in the war against poverty.

I just heard the early news it's cool my daughter showed me how it works. Now I think you should give some information about the UK journalist who was I hope accidentally killed by our troops. Journalist should support each other as we do here in the US. Next don't forget Blair's support for the pull out of UK troops from Iraq. It's important because it's exactly what we're dealing with. Notice the Brits don't look at leaving as cut and run. Also mention the young soldier who did what true honest soldiers do tell the truth. She told about abuses still going on in Gito. Brian remember the truth hurts but it's better to hear it from you then the blog sites. Honest reporting means sometimes just telling Americans what is really going on and not sugar coating the story. I'll be watching you and I'll keep telling you what I think. I hope you respect me for my thoughts as I respect you for your views.

I have meet Dr. Yunus; I have visited Grameen; I have worked in Microfinance for more than 20 years, being a co-founder of ADEMI in the Dominican Republic; and I strongly believe that "political democracy in the under developed world could be achieved when we achieve economical democracy", that is part of Dr. Yunus legacy to the World.
