Hunkering down in Beirut
I agree with Ted Land; maybe also you can comment on whether the bloggers actually personally read these comments, and what, if anything is done with them, since it appears as though the bloggers can not and do not respond either to the comments individually, or in the blog. Do these people know how much the viewers are worried for their safety? Does it even matter to them, or are they simply doing what the rest of the media is doing, chasing the story? It is gut wrenching to think of the danger, and potential loss of life of these most precious people....and somewhere, at some time, before they go to sleep, we hope and pray they know of their value to us all.

I loved today's tour. It's really cool to see the bureau where all the newsgathering really takes place. Maybe for a future "early" you could follow a story from the idea phase to when it makes air and show viewers what the editorial/production process is like.

If anyone is having problems watching Early Nightly, try clearing your cache. In Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu and selection Internet Options. In the dialogue box, choose Delete Files. Wait for the hourglass to resolve, then click OK. We're working on the issue so this won't be necessary in the future. Thanks for your patience while we iron out the kinks.
