As Brian posted earlier this morning, he's anchoring the broadcast from Tel Aviv tonight. Before heading off to an Israeli military briefing, he stopped in front of a camera and offered his impressions. this is such a great inside look at what makes the news/the making of the news. I'm glad it's being produced in a no-frills fashion too... makes one feel closer to the reality of the news and with the final result. I can imagine Brian Williams was the chief instigator of this blog - he is the future of broadcast news.

thanks Rob for helping to make this happen. At minimum, it clues us in to the fact your "commander in chief" is safe for the moment in his customary well pressed attire. Please keep up the posts by video and blogs...and do what you can to insure your crew returns home safely.
