President Bush (nobody really listened) saw this coming and warned the public albeit a little late. The American people need to start a savings account for themselves rather than depend on business owners and managers of big business. It has been seen all too often, to make a buck these CFO's are cutting costs and corners like your pension and 401K cost share programs.
Its time to take that responsibility for yourself and start saving. Those messages need to be passed down to children so they too can start saving for the day they can stop working and enjoy the retirement age.
President Kennedy said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." Stablize your future and the rest of the country will follow...eventually. A stable U.S. economy is whats best for everyone both here and abroad. Though too many close their eyes and hope for a better tomorrow.

Hey,

We have had 3 family members lose their retirements in the last decade due to Corporate Bankruptcies, etc. I am a retired USAF guy making it on that, disabled. Benefits are hard to keep. Promises are crap.
